Katherine Heigl Going Retro for Mother’s Day? Yay or Nay?

Ex-Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl was spotted over Mother’s Day weekend heading to a friend’s house with her two adopted daughters in tow, along with husband Josh Kelley. This was the first time the actress is seen with her newly adopted daughter since the news broke out last month that the couple has adopted yet again. All’s well and good with the family it seems, with Katherine seemingly glowing with a mother’s happiness!

Now, Katherine has had quite a few run ins with the fashion police, with her many boo-boos in her wardrobe choices, but there are also many times that she redeemed herself and was photographed wearing a chic and fashionable ensemble! And upon gazing at this latest picture of hers, I can’t help but wonder if her ensemble is a yay or a nay for her critics, with a number of them already slamming her outfit as a fashion boo-boo!

Katherine was wearing a 60′s style knitted shift minidress in pink, black, and white paired with Valentino mauve over the knee leather boots. Choosing not to over-accessorize, the actress just wore a pair of sunglasses and earrings and her wedding ring to complete her ensemble.

While there are quite a number of critics already naying her ensemble, I think Katherine looked great in it, bringing out her inner Twiggy in a modish outfit! She looked playfully retro and modish here! I also like her choice of boots she wore, I would’ve loved her to have worn a cognac colored boots to match her bag, but hey, mixing and matching is so not in right now, so her choice of color works too!
